CARGO

Breakbulk.

At the Port of Gothenburg, breakbulk cargo is handled quickly and efficiently, whether it is high and heavy, project cargo, steel or other cargo with non-standard dimensions.

Breakbulk is handled in all port terminals with great experience and precision. Wind and hydropower plants, train carriages, helicopters, generators, steel, housing modules for oil platforms and other tall, wide and heavy units in the Port of Gothenburg are handled here. In addition to loading and unloading, the terminals can offer flexible unit preparation of breakbulk goods.

What is breakbulk?

Breakbulk is a system for transporting goods in parts rather than in containers. the load therefore does not need to be adapted for containers. Breakbuld is well suited to individual items and goods that are oversized and heavy, e.g. machines, project loads, larger vehicles and boats, wind turbines, generators and steel parts.
