Skandia Harbour

The Port of Gothenburg has 1,140 metres of mooring space at the southern quay and 630 metres of mooring space at the western quay dedicated specifically to container vessels.

The general minimum UKC (under keel clearance) is 0.5 metres. The exceptions are berths 610-612 where the UKC minimum is 0.7 metres. Detailed information about the different berths can be found below. There is one berth at the Port of Gothenburg dedicated to car carriers. The minimum UKC (under keel clearance) is 0.5 metres at all berths. Detailed information about the different berths can be found below. The Skandia Harbour can receive vessels with an LOA of up to 400 m and a draught of up to 13.5 m (MW).

    Special stipulations regarding berths 640-643:
    If vessels that moor at berth 643 are wider than 30 metres, there should no vessel moored at berth 644. When a vessel leaving berth 643 is wider than 30 metres and is being assisted by a tug, no vessel should be moored at berth 644. When a vessel wider than 30 metres is due to depart from berth 643 without tug assistance, all loading/unloading at berth 644 must cease.
